Honey Bee keeping:

Beekeeping is a widespread activity with a wealth of existing local knowledge and skills. The addition of a little technical information, however, can lead to greatly improved harvests of honey and beeswax. There are many ways to assist honey hunters or beekeepers to build on their resources to create more income by harvesting and processing honey more skillfully, and to obtain better prices by saving and selling beeswax and by making secondary products.

Sewing Machine Operators :

A Sewing Machine Operator is associated with the apparel sector. His/her primary responsibility is to stitch/sew fabric, fur, or synthetic materials to produce apparels. A Sewing Machine Operator should have good eyesight, eye-hand-leg coordination, motor skills and vision (including near vision, distance vision, colour vision, peripheral vision), depth perception and ability to change focus. It is also the largest employer in the manufacturing sector.


Pattachitra Art History​

Pattachitra’s wonderful art was born in the Indian town of Orissa. Pattachitra art is practiced in many tiny communities throughout Orissa. Puri, Paralakhemundi, Sonepur, Chikiti, and the little artisan village of Raghurajpur are among the well-known locations. Everyone there is performing the ancient technique of painting on palm leaves or cotton cloth. From colors to canvas, everything is made in the village by the artists. Pattachitra is a Sanskrit term in which “patta” means “cloth” and “Chitra” means “picture”. These paintings come from the fifth century. The earliest examples of these paintings can be discovered in the district of Puri, Orissa, mainly in the village of Raghurajpur. A small village where nearly every family produces Pattachitra art.

Pattachitra Art-Making Process ​

Pattachitra art is created on both cotton cloths and palm leaves. Everything that the artists utilize to create these marvels is natural and handmade. These paintings are entirely handmade, from the canvas to the brush used to color them. And the beauty of Pattachitra is enhanced by the use of handcrafted materials. Let’s go over the procedure in detail one by one.


Digitisation of glass painting

Glass paintings are very much popular artefacts that art lovers and many others like to collect. It makes use of vibrant synthetic colours on the glass as a base. The overall appearance of glass and semi-transparent paints together provide a very ethnic look.

Glass painting is a special kind of drawing painted on the inside surface of the transparent glass and is being executed with oil and hard resin or with watercolour and gum on glass sheets. A very different form of glass painting is the reverse glass painting wherein, engravings are laid down on the back of the glass, and painted from the reverse.
